Dr. Shari Carroll and Dr. Alicja Kazmierowska are both board-certified pediatric dentists. Our Redondo Beach office cares for children from infancy through adolescence, including children with special healthcare needs, autism, developmental differences, medical complexity, and dental anxiety.

Your first visit
For a first visit, the appointment is tailored to your child’s age, development, comfort level, and dental needs. Appointment length and the exact type of visit vary depending on the child and the reason for the appointment. When you call, our team will explain what to expect and what information or records will be helpful.

Sensory Profile
If your child has sensory, communication, behavioral, or other special needs, our office can send you a Sensory Profile before the visit so we can learn more about your child in advance and plan the experience accordingly.

What to have available when you call
- Your child’s name, date of birth, and reason for the visit.
- Dental insurance information, if you plan to use insurance.
- Relevant medical/dental history, medications, allergies, and the names of involved specialists when applicable.
- Any prior dental records or X-rays that the office specifically requests.

PPO, EPO & TRICARE
We are in-network with most major PPO and EPO dental insurance plans and participate with the TRICARE Dental Program (TDP). Because networks and benefits can change, please call us so we can help verify your specific plan.
